What is LinkedIn Outreach Automation?

LinkedIn Outreach Automation is a GoPerfect feature that enables you to include LinkedIn messages (InMail or Direct Message) directly in your outreach campaigns. You no longer have to switch between multiple tools — everything stays inside GoPerfect.

With it you can:

  1. Reach candidates via LinkedIn as well as email

  2. Create more personalized, multi-channel sequences

  3. Capture replies centrally in GoPerfect

Types of LinkedIn Messages Supported

If not connected, GoPerfect sends a connection request for you + note (up to 200 characters), then pauses until accepted

How to Connect Your LinkedIn Account

  1. Go to outreach > Connect accounts & sender.

  2. Select Add a new channel.


  3. Select LinkedIn.


  4. Insert your LinkedIn credentials

    1. Note: you may be required to solve a captcha puzzle, reconnect with a new password or insert an authentication code. That's completely normal.

Campaign Flow Types & Sequencing

  1. LinkedIn messages can be used in Auto campaigns and Custom campaigns. In both campaigns, you can incorporate all three Outreach methods or some of them. The methods are:

  1. Email.

  2. LinkedIn Direct Message.

  3. LinkedIn InMail.

Auto Campaigns

  1. In Auto campaigns, just like emails, LinkedIn messages are written for you automatically by GoPerfect's AI.

  2. After the above steps, you're almost set to use an Auto campaign. All you have to do is choose the relevant Outreach method you want to use.

  3. Navigate to Outreach > Connect accounts and sender then click add a new channel.

  4. Click Link this.

  5. Select Message Types and click on the drop down and select which medium of LinkedIn Outreach you want to include in the campaign.

Note:

  1. Message order is preconfigured (you can’t change it):

    1. Email

    2. LinkedIn (InMail or DM)

    3. Email

    4. LinkedIn (InMail or DM), etc.


Custom Campaigns

Custom campaigns give you more control while still maintaining automation. For each step, you can choose the relevant Outreach method.

  1. Click on Campaigns/Choose outreach mode then select Custom.

  2. Choose a medium for each step.

  3. Write your messages then click Save Campaign.

Notes for both campaign types:

  1. When choosing DM, the campaign will hold until the connect request is approved. Therefore, we recommend making it the last step when using more than 1 medium.

  2. When sending a DM, if you're not connected to the candidate via LinkedIn, the written message converts to a connection request note (up to 200 characters).

Replies & Response Handling

All replies — Email, InMail and DM — appear in GoPerfect's one unified inbox, making it easy to track correspondence in the same place.


FAQs

Can I edit the connection request note?

Yes. In Custom mode, you can write your own (≤200 characters).
In Auto mode, it writes it for you.

Can I mix Email, InMail and DM within one campaign?

Yes.

What happens if the candidate doesn’t accept the connection request?

The campaign pauses. No further messages are sent until it’s accepted.

What if I run out of InMail credits?

GoPerfect doesn't change anything between you and LinkedIn. If you don't have LinkedIn credits, InMails cannot be sent, and the campaign will stop.
