Connecting Your LinkedIn Account to Your Outreach Campaign

Learn how to link your LinkedIn account to GoPerfect Outreach using a browser cookie

To use LinkedIn in your GoPerfect Outreach, link your account with a browser cookie. This is now the standard way to connect — it's faster, more reliable, and works for any LinkedIn account, including Recruiter and Sales Navigator.

Why Do We Use Cookies?

  • No interruptions when you log in elsewhere

  • No accidental disconnections

  • A more stable, secure connection between GoPerfect and LinkedIn

When you connect with a cookie, GoPerfect uses your browser's existing LinkedIn session instead of your login credentials.

How to Connect

Step 1: In GoPerfect, go to Outreach > Connect accounts & sender, click Add a new channel, and select LinkedIn.

Step 2: The LinkedIn connection modal opens. You'll see fields for your li_at cookie (and li_a, if you have Recruiter or Sales Navigator) and a How to find them? link.

Step 3: Click How to find them? to see in-app instructions for grabbing your cookie — or follow the steps in the How to Find Your li_at Cookie section below.

Step 4: Paste the li_at value (and li_a, if applicable) into the modal and click Connect.

That's it — your LinkedIn account is connected. 🎉

How to Find Your li_at Cookie

  1. Open LinkedIn in a new browser tab and make sure you're logged in.

  2. Open your browser's Developer Console:

    • Windows (Chrome): Press F12, or right-click anywhere on the page and choose Inspect.

    • Mac (Chrome): Press ⌘ + ⌥ + I (or fn + F12).

    • Mac (Safari): Press ⌥ + ⌘ + I.

  3. In the Developer Console, go to the Application tab, expand Cookies in the left sidebar, and click https://www.linkedin.com.

  4. Find the row labeled li_at and copy its Value.

  5. Paste it into the GoPerfect LinkedIn connection modal and click Connect.

Recruiter or Sales Navigator users: If your LinkedIn account has a Recruiter or Sales Navigator subscription, also copy the li_a cookie value (it sits just above li_at in the cookies list) and paste it where prompted. This ensures GoPerfect uses your premium seat correctly.

Once your account is connected, you can:
