Overview
Clone & Edit is designed to help you move faster when hiring for similar roles. Instead of rebuilding a position from the ground up, you can reuse an existing one as a foundation and make targeted adjustments.
This is especially useful when:
Hiring for multiple similar roles
Hiring for the same role in different locations
Testing different candidate profiles or criteria
Iterating on a search that needs refinement
How it works:
Click the ⚙️ cog icon on any position card on the home page
Select “Clone & Edit”
A new agent session will open with all original search filters pre-loaded
Review and adjust any filters based on your new requirements
Run the search to generate a fresh set of candidates
What’s included:
Search criteria and filters from the original position, including role requirements, targeting parameters, and any applied constraints
What’s not included:
Outreach campaign settings are not carried over — allowing you to create a fresh outreach strategy
Matches or candidates from the original position are not included — each cloned search generates new results
Best Practice
Use Clone & Edit when you want to quickly iterate on a search without losing the structure of what already worked. Small adjustments to filters can help you uncover new candidate pools while staying aligned with your original hiring goals.
