Archive positions to keep your workspace focused on what you're actively hiring for. When a role is on hold or filled, archiving moves it off your active list — without losing any of your matches, conversations, or history. You can bring it back at any time, exactly as you left it.
How to Archive a Position
Step 1: On your home page, find the position you want to archive and click the ⚙️ settings icon on the position card.
Step 2: Select Archive position from the menu.
That's it — the position is now archived. Here's what happens automatically:
All your matches, conversations, and candidate history stay intact
Active outreach sequences are paused — no messages will go out for this role
Autopilot stops running on the position
The position becomes read-only, with a clear banner showing it's archived
Any action that would change the position prompts you to unarchive first
Viewing Archived Positions
Use the Archived tab on your home page to see all your archived positions.
How to Unarchive a Position
Click Unarchive on any archived position to bring it back. Unarchiving restores the position to the exact status it had before — and any outreach sequences that were paused by archiving will resume automatically.
Note: Autopilot does not auto-resume when you unarchive. You'll need to turn it back on manually. Also, if unarchiving puts you over your plan's open-position limit, the position will be restored but you may need to adjust your plan.
FAQs
Will I lose any data when I archive a position?
No. All matches, conversations, candidate history, and settings are preserved. Archiving is fully reversible.
What happens to active outreach when I archive?
All outreach sequences are automatically paused. No emails or LinkedIn messages will be sent for an archived position. When you unarchive, sequences that were paused by archiving resume automatically (sequences you paused manually stay paused).
Can I edit an archived position?
Archived positions are read-only. If you try to make a change, you'll be prompted to unarchive first.
Does Autopilot resume when I unarchive?
No — Autopilot needs to be turned back on manually after unarchiving.
