Connecting LinkedIn to GoPerfect is now a one-time setup. Install our Chrome extension and your LinkedIn session stays connected on its own — no cookies to copy, and no outreach quietly stopping because LinkedIn signed you out.
How to Connect
Step 1: Install the GoPerfect extension from the Chrome Web Store.
Step 2: In GoPerfect, go to Outreach > Connect accounts & sender, click Add a new channel, and select LinkedIn. The extension hands over your session automatically — there's nothing to paste.
Step 3: You'll see a one-time permission screen. Click Allow. That's the last time the extension needs anything from you.
Step 4: Open LinkedIn Recruiter or Sales Navigator once in your browser so we pick up your full session.
That's it — your LinkedIn account is connected. 🎉
Already connected with a cookie? You don't need to start over. Install the extension, then click Enable auto-reconnect in your LinkedIn channel settings and your existing connection is upgraded in place.
What Happens When Your Session Expires
LinkedIn expires sessions periodically — that's normal. With auto-reconnect on, here's what happens:
Your session expires: We reconnect silently in the background and your campaigns keep running.
Your session expires mid-outreach: Same thing — the connection is restored before you'd notice a pause.
A reconnect genuinely fails: Only then do you get a notification, and it clears itself as soon as the connection is back.
Your LinkedIn identity stays the same throughout, so your conversation history and message threads stay intact.
Connecting Manually With a Cookie
If you can't install the Chrome extension, you can still connect manually using your browser's LinkedIn cookie. Note that a manual connection does not reconnect itself — if LinkedIn signs you out, you'll need to repeat these steps.
Open LinkedIn in a new browser tab and make sure you're logged in.
Open your browser's Developer Console:
Windows (Chrome): Press F12, or right-click anywhere on the page and choose Inspect.
Mac (Chrome): Press ⌘ + ⌥ + I (or fn + F12).
Mac (Safari): Press ⌥ + ⌘ + I.
Go to the Application tab, expand Cookies in the left sidebar, and click https://www.linkedin.com.
Find the row labeled li_at and copy its Value.
Paste it into the GoPerfect LinkedIn connection modal and click Connect.
Recruiter or Sales Navigator users: If your LinkedIn account has a Recruiter or Sales Navigator subscription, also copy the li_a cookie value (it sits just above li_at in the cookies list) and paste it where prompted. This ensures GoPerfect uses your premium seat correctly.
